In Wierchomla, located just over ten kilometres from Piwniczna, there are two forest reserves and a ski station. Wierchomla has the longest four-seat chair lift in Poland, four ski lifts, ski runs of 4000 m total length, a snowmaking system on all ski runs, and ski slopes with illumination and sound systems.
